Meeting & Speaker: "Alexander Hamilton"

We've all heard of Alexander Hamilton -- American statesman, politician, legal scholar, military commander, lawyer, banker, and economist. He was one of the Founding Fathers of our country. In his lifetime, he traveled -- often in New Jersey -- and wrote extensively on many topics.

Our speaker, Patricia Sanftner, is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), has served as the NJDAR State Historian, and is a curator at the Schuyler-Hamilton House in Morristown, as well as at Watson House museums. Her presentation will touch on Hamilton, the DAR, and the historic houses with which she is familiar.

If her name sounds familiar in other venues, no wonder: She is a respected curator and historian among many Hamilton historians, is acquainted with members of the original cast of the musical Hamilton, and and was also featured in the PBS special "Hamilton's America". She made her living working on Broadway in television and film for decades on such shows as The Sopranos and One Life to Live. She was also a professor at Marymount Manhattan College for 15 years,
