Preservation Plan for the Martin Berry House

Pequannock Township’s council voted to move ahead with the purchase of the historic Martin Berry House in early 2016. Their decision was based in part upon a professional Preservation Plan by the HMR Architects of Trenton NJ, long noted for their expertise in historic preservation.

Their plan, submitted in March 2016, is the guide by which the house will be restored in several stages. It begins with an extensively-researched history of the structure (guided by Eleanor Bogert) and discusses each facet of the building and the plans for rehabilitation and restoration.
