In addition to our vintage furniture and furnishings, the Society is building a library of documents, photos, memories, maps, ephemera, and other printed matter. Most of this was left to us by Eleanor Bogert, the last owner of the Martin Berry House. Her curiosity about history seemingly knew no bounds, encompassing areas of historical interest in New Jersey — which is to say, most of it — and beyond.
Her collection, some of which dates back over 50 years, is being digitized and will be added here as time and funding permits. Selected documents and photos are being posted to our Facebook page.
Members of the Society are also creating documents about the long history of Pequannock and the Martin Berry House.
